Iona is a lovely 63’ traditional stern narrowboat, built in 1999 by Orion Narrowboats. A complete refit by Jim Birch of Oakcraft Narrowboats was completed in 2024, including all new appliances throughout. This TYLER 26 was completed in Salcombe by Tideway Boat Construction Ltd in 1977 primarily as a day fishing cruiser for use in the waters around the Devon coast. Her simple and uncomplicated interior provides a day cabin for two persons and a separate heads. There is a good history with a file of detail relating to refits including details of a major refit in 2013.
