Elena Maria Barbara is a replica 18th Century Baltic topsail schooner which originally formed part of Peter the Great’s Russian Navy. This wonderful replica was built in 1995 along with a handful of other replicas to commemorate the 300th Anniversary of Peter the Great founding the Russian Navy this celebration took place in 2003 in St Peterburg. Spring Breeze was designed by Fredrick Parker in 1980 and is, most likely, one of his last designs before his passing in 1985. Fredrick was known for designing the Javelin 30 in GRP, in his own comments ‘not a material he favoured’. Spring Breeze was built using a cold moulded method from 25mm Iroko, with a teak deck.
