The concept of using the two hulls from a dinghy size catamaran as outriggers for a Trimaran is not a new concept. Typhon, “Tough T” used Tornado hulls, both sailing extensively on the south coast and further afield! Just finished full refurb. New oak gunnels and reclaimed English oak knees. All bonded using west systems epoxy and marine grade stainless. The existing seat had some rot which has been removed and a fresh piece of hardwood scarfed on. All woodwork varnished with several coats of International Original and the hull coated with International Toplac. The hull has an odd bit of lumpiness that must have happened during the layup - it doesn’t effect it at all but is visible. New Stainless rowlock sockets. Outboard pad. Built to last.... read more
